Rai Stone is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Upon death, enemies have a 15% chance to drop a stone Penny that flickers and disappears after 2.5 seconds.

Notes

• Coins spawned by Rai Stone have a unique appearance, but are otherwise identical to Pennies.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: Affects the chance for an enemy to drop a Penny on death, with the maximum chance being 75% with a total multiplier of 5.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Rai Stone rerolls it into Insatiable Apatite.

Trivia

• The flavor text of Rai Stone references Mammon, a character from the Retribution MOD.
  • According to Fiend Folio lore, Mammon is from a species known as the Mammonites — pig-like creatures that include Sourpuss and Sweetpuss that have created Golem and some of the other golem-like entities that can be found in Golem's Subway.
• Rai stones are large artifacts that were crafted and treasured by the native inhabitants of the Yap islands in Micronesia, and were thought to have historically been used as a form of currency ― mostly being used for ceremonial gifts and transactions by being passed on in ownership through oral tradition, due to their large size making transporting them across islands unfeasible.
